An Invitation to Travel

Hello,

This website shows photos taken during my various trips in Asia, Africa and South America.

I travelled through many countries and usually in small groups because it gave me the opportunity to have a close interaction with the people and appreciate their smiles. I want to thank them for their kindness through this website and I hope to share with you the joy of travelling.

Whatever the countries I went to, the ways of living and behaving are a lot similar and I thought it interesting to confront them.

It happened that in some countries we were the event of the day. For example when we arrived in Ouigours after travelling through the Kun Loun (1986) on the high Tibetan plateaus, the locals had almost never met a European. It was the same in 2004 when we visited the Molucca Islands. Several years can go by without them seeing travellers or even their counterparts from the neighbouring islands.

It was such a pleasure to meet the local people who are ready to accommodate you although they have little to live on. They showed us so much consideration that it reminds you of the true values of life in case you tend to be forgetful.
